The Game Room reviewed the game on the 11 July 2000. Dave said the graphics were some of the best he saw on the Dreamcast. Mark said the cutscenes were amazing. He also enjoyed the fact that he could destroy cities with a mech. They recommended it to buy as it had replay value.
